Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Psychiatric Nursing qualification (essential)
• Minimum 5 years psychiatric nursing experience
• Minimum 2–3 years management/supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and patient rights
• Excellent leadership and staff management skills
• Strong administrative and reporting ability
• Good communication and conflict management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall management of the nursing department
• Ensure high standards of psychiatric patient care
